These beautiful shawls are woven in the double cloth technique, in which tiny pockets were created, into which metallic sequins were inserted during weaving. This extraordinary technique was awarded the UNESCO Seal of Excellence.  

They are very light weight, easy to dress up or down. The sequins reflect the light in a subtle way, perfect for dressing up in the evening and fun in the day.  Also gorgeous worn as sarongs.
